2025 Reina
Elisa Solis, 17, is a passionate and ambitious young woman who finds inspiration in the life and legacy of Frida Kahlo. Like her role model, Elisa values creativity, resilience, and staying true to oneself. She dreams of becoming a cosmetologist and eventually owning her own beauty business, where she can help others feel confident and express themselves through style and self-care.
Elisa’s artistic spirit shines through in everything she does. She enjoys sculpting, singing, dancing, and cooking, and she’s an active member of both her school’s dance team and theater club, where she thrives in environments that celebrate culture, performance, and expression. Her dedication and leadership have earned her the title of Student of the Month three times, recognizing not just her academic efforts but also her positive impact on those around her.
Outside of school, Elisa enjoys giving back. She regularly assists with her family’s business, learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and entrepreneurship—skills she plans to use in her own future salon. She also loves taking part in community events, where she volunteers her time and talents to help bring people together, whether it’s by setting up events, helping serve food, or lending a hand wherever needed.
Elisa’s curiosity and determination extend to new challenges—she successfully completed a female firefighter camp, where she gained strength, confidence, and an appreciation for teamwork and resilience. Her favorite book, I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, speaks deeply to her identity and personal growth, while her favorite singer, Shakira, inspires her with her boldness, creativity, and global influence. Elisa’s favorite animal, the jellyfish, reflects her personality well—graceful, adaptable, and quietly powerful.
With a strong sense of self, a love for the arts, and a growing foundation in business and leadership, Elisa Solis is on her way to becoming a successful, creative force in her community—and beyond.
